Nominations closed at 4pm on 20 September 2024.
All undergraduate students will receive an email sent to their UNSW student email account with a link to vote. Voting is open between 5am 22 October and 10pm 25 October 2024.
Students can vote for the positions below (assuming they are contested, and note some positions require eligibility e.g. being a Paddington campus student to vote for the Paddington Officers):

Elected Officers and Councillors hold their position from 1 December 2024 until 30 November 2025.
Wait… what is the SRC?
The SRC stands for the Student Representative Council, which represents and campaigns for students at UNSW. They liaise with UNSW and other external organisations for the interests of students. The Council also organises activities to enhance the student experience.
Other than the positions that are being voted for, the SRC is also comprised of ex officio members that hold the right to a position at the SRC by holding another position. Voting members include the Chair of the Arc Board and the President of the Postgraduate Council (PGC). Non-voting members include the CEO of Arc, the undergraduate student representative elected to University Council, the 2 undergraduate student representatives elected to the Academic Board, and the undergraduate student-faculty representatives.

What do the elected members of the SRC do?
President
The President of the SRC has a range of duties regarding the management of the SRC and advocacy for students at UNSW. They stand as the official spokesperson of the SRC, representing the SRC within university bodies like the National Union of Students. They chair SRC meetings and ensure that other members are performing their roles as required within the SRC. They can approve and deny all expenditures of the SRC.
General Secretary
The General Secretary is responsible for administrative duties, including but not limited to counting votes in SRC meetings and taking minutes of those meetings. They also function as a deputy for the President as needed.
Councillors
Councillors represent the students in their respective electorate by attending meetings where they discuss student issues and pass motions. They organise events in interest of students’ concerns.
Officers
Officers have the same duties of the Councillors, as well as being the spokesperson for their Collective. They organise events for and manage the expenditure of their respective Collectives.
Delegates to the National Union of Students
As a member organisation of the National Union of Students (NUS), the SRC is required to elect delegates to be representatives at the NUS national conference.
